Welcome to Cooter’s in the Shenandoah Valley located in Luray, Virginia for an unforgettable day that includes an exclusive guided tour, lunch, musical entertainment and television nostalgia!  If you are a fan of “The Dukes of Hazzard”, the American action-comedy television series that aired on CBS from 1979 to 1985, then you will love our visit to Cooter’s in the Valley.  Established as an entertaining tribute to the beloved television series, Cooter’s features a “Dukes” shop, a museum filled with memorabilia from the show, and Daisy’s Dixie Diner.  The museum includes props, costumes, backstage photos, and several vehicles from the series, including the General Lee Dodge Charger, Boss Hogg’s Cadillac and Cooter’s tow truck.  Following our lunch and musical entertainment, you’ll be treated to an exclusive guided tour of the museum.  Relax and relish the fellowship of friends old and new while you enjoy your meal and entertainment!  Please provide a meal choice when making your reservations.  Your choices are Pulled Pork BBQ Sandwich, Chicken Bacon Ranch Wrap or Turkey Bacon Club Sandwich.  We’ll conclude our day in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley with a leisurely drive along the Skyline Drive in the Shenandoah National Park with photo stops, including one at the Stony Man Overlook.  Also, we will visit one of the best visitor’s centers on Skyline Drive, the Harry F. Byrd Visitor Center for a self-guided tour.  Learn about the park’s history and the meaning of wilderness through an interactive touch screen exhibit, “The Spirit of Wilderness” and you will have an opportunity to speak with park rangers too.  Keep your cameras ready because the Shenandoah National Park offers travelers the opportunity to view many of the most scenic vistas in the eastern United States and Skyline Drive is an excellent place to view the plentiful and diverse wildlife of the Shenandoah Valley.  Note:  A fast food stop will be made on the return trip home.
