Come join Gunther Tours for an exciting day of exploration and discovery at the Museum of the Bible, the newest addition to the remarkable group of world class museums found in Washington, D.C.  Located just two blocks from the National Mall and three blocks from the nation’s Capital, the 430,000-square-foot Museum of the Bible will amaze you from the moment you enter through the 40-foot-tall bronze doors at the entrance, to the roof-top garden and restaurant, and everything in-between.  Floor by floor you are invited to explore and experience the history, narrative, and impact of the Bible through the use of cutting-edge technology.  The Museum has three permanent sections, space for temporary exhibits, libraries, a children’s area, gift shop, a 500-seat theater and much more.  Generously, several of the world’s most prominent private collections of biblical objects and artifacts have contributed to the creation of the Museum collections.  We spend 7-hours at the Museum of the Bible.  Lunch is on your own at Manna, conveniently located on site at the museum.  Note:  Based on tour passenger suggestions, it was strongly recommended that we extend the amount of time spent at the museum, allowing visitors ample time to explore and enjoy all that the Museum of the Bible has to offer!
