Day 2

After a buffet breakfast, we meet our step-on guide, and depart for a day of New Hampshire sightseeing. Our guided tour takes us through the White Mountains, from Franconia Notch to Mount Washington, to our first destination of the day, the Rocks Estate in Bethlehem, New Hampshire. Rocks Estate is a 1,400-acre preserve overlooking New Hampshire's Presidential Mountain Range that features an education center, a sustainable Christmas tree farm and offers educational nature adventures. The Rocks Estate was originally the summer home of a successful 19th-century Chicago businessman, and now is owned by the Society for the Protection of New Hampshire Forests. Enjoy an entertaining and educational presentation on the Estate's Moose & Bear Program built around two of New Hampshire's most intriguing animals. Aided by the use of antlers, pelts and skulls, the programs knowledgeable guide will enhance your understanding of the habits and habitat of these animals. Following our tour, we continue onto Lincoln, New Hampshire. Our guided tour will take us through the White Mountains from Franconia Notch to the Mount Washington Hotel for a delicious luncheon and tour. Our final stop of the day will be at the Loon Mountain Gondola Ride. We'll ride New Hampshire's longest sky ride to the 2,733-foot summit of Loon Peak for a spectacular view of New England's constantly changing, colorful fall foliage panorama! After returning to the Inn, relax, unwind and freshen up before going to Foster's Boiler Room for a leisurely dinner on your own.

Day 3

After a buffet breakfast, we meet our step-on guide, and depart for another day of New Hampshire sightseeing. Our touring begins by boarding the M/S Mount Washington for a sightseeing cruise on Lake Winnipesaukee, New Hampshire's largest lake. Next, we will have some leisure time to explore the picturesque New England community of Wolfeboro Village, and browse its many specialty shops and restaurants before we continue onto Moultonborough, New Hampshire. Lunch is on your own. The next stop of the day will be at the Castle in the Clouds, for a self-guided tour of the Mansion. The mansion reflects the natural splendor of New Hampshire's Ossipee Mountains and overlooks Lake Winnipesaukee. Our final stop for the day will be on board the Lake Winnipesaukee Scenic Railroad. Enjoy a nostalgic scenic excursion along the shores of the lake while dining on a delicious roast turkey dinner with all the trimmings. The relaxing train trip provides terrific views of this sparkling lake and a unique view of some of the beautiful lakeside homes and summer cottages. Following our train ride, we return to the Inn for a good night's sleep.
