Day 1

Welcome Aboard! Travel in comfort aboard our deluxe motor coach to "The Keystone State," Pennsylvania. Our first destination is the Sunrise Soap Company in York, Pennsylvania. You will meet with the owner and learn about her healthy homemade products, plus a demonstration will be given on the art of making artisan soaps, lotions and other goodies. Also, prior to our departure, you will have time for browsing the gift shop for souvenirs and a special gift! Next stop Harrisburg, Pennsylvania for a delicious buffet lunch at The Fire House Restaurant. The renovated Historic Hope Station building is home to The Fire House Restaurant. Hope Station is the oldest standing firehouse in the city of Harrisburg and the second oldest firehouse in Pennsylvania. Following lunch, we travel onto Mansfield, Pennsylvania, where we spend three nights at the Comfort Inn. Tonight, we are treated to a delicious buffet dinner at Lambs Creek Food and Spirits, nestled in the beautiful rolling hills of the Tioga River Valley, and overlooking the Mansfield University.

Day 2

After a deluxe continental breakfast, we depart for downtown Wellsboro, Pennsylvania to meet our step-on guide, and depart for a day of sightseeing. We begin at the Patterson Farms Maple Products in Sabinsville, Pennsylvania. Upon our arrival, enjoy a guided tour and a deluxe sit-down sampling of products, including pancakes and ham with syrup, fruit with maple creams and more. It's a snack for some, meal for others and free for all! Next we tour Highland Chocolates and after our tour everyone can enjoy special treats while browsing the gift shop. We depart Wellsboro for the amazing and unique Pennsylvania Grand Canyon Overlook. Enjoy a covered wagon ride, (with padded seats) into the Canyon's upper gorge, and take in the breathtaking beauty of this area surround you! Before we return to the Inn, we are treated to a delicious dinner at Penns Wells Restaurant, a restaurant that serves up great local flavors.

Day 3

After a deluxe continental breakfast, we depart for a full day of exploring Ithaca, New York. Our first stop is at Cornell Plantations, a public botanical garden and arboretum. Maintained by Cornell University as part of one of America's most renowned university campuses, Cornell Plantations is recognized for its great natural beauty and serenity. Our guide will conduct a driving tour through the 200-acre F.R. Newman Arboretum. A stop is included at the brand-new Brian C. Nevin Welcome Center. Here, visitors will find interpretive exhibits about Cornell Plantations, a reception desk, fully accessible restrooms, a gift shop, and small café. Our touring continues with a stop by Cornell University Orchards Fruit Farm and Vineyard where they grow 15 acres of apples, 2 acres of grapes, 4 acres of berries and 4 acres of plums. After our morning of touring enjoy leisurely exploring downtown Ithaca and browsing its many specialty shops and restaurants. Following lunch on your own, we depart for Robert H. Treman State Park. The park is an area of wild beauty, and features the rugged Enfield Glen as its scenic highlight. Winding trails follow the gorge past numerous waterfalls, including the 115-foot Lucifer Falls, where visitors have a mile-and-a-half view down the wooded gorge as it winds its way to the lower park. Next we visit Six Mile Creek Vineyard for a wine tasting paired with local cheeses before we continue on to Taughannock Falls Overlook for wonderful views of the falls cataract with a drop of 215-feet, making it one of the highest east of the Rocky Mountains. Before returning to our hotel in Mansfield, Pennsylvania we enjoy a tasty dinner at the Boatyard Grill, a casual, waterfront, nautical-themed restaurant.

Day 4

After a deluxe continental breakfast, we depart for Williamsport, Pennsylvania and the Hiawatha Paddlewheel Riverboat for a 1-hour Susquehanna River cruise. Next we depart for the Country Cupboard Restaurant in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania for a delicious buffet lunch. Finally, before departing for home, we conclude our day at Shade Mountain Winery. Enjoy a guided tour of the winery, followed by a tasting of selected Shade Mountain wines served with cheese and crackers.
