Welcome to Alfred’s Victorian Mansion located just south of Harrisburg in scenic Dauphin County in Middletown, Pennsylvania for a Victorian tea luncheon.  Relax and enjoy warm friendly service, and the beauty and quite charm of this 1888 Victorian Brownstone Mansion.  Decorated with antiques, carved wood, gingerbread accents and other lush décor of the period, Alfred’s Victorian Mansion has been serving Central Pennsylvania for over 45 years and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.  Your menu will consist of a cup of seasonal soup, a salad with fruit, cheese and nuts, scone with jam and clotted cream, assorted savories, assorted desserts, all served with different teas at each course.  Following our tea luncheon, we take a leisurely drive to Hershey Gardens in Hershey, Pennsylvania.  Enjoy a self-guided tour upon our arrival.  Overlooking the town of Hershey, Hershey Gardens boast meticulous maintained theme gardens; features a breathtaking assortment of flowers and shrubs; a stately collection of rare, signature trees; and a delightful Butterfly House.  More than 80 years later, Milton Hershey’s small rose gardens has blossomed into 23 acres of botanical beauty.  For the Fall Splendor Season some highlights are Autumn Crocus, Asters, Daily Lilies, Goldenrod, Hardy Sunflower, Mums, Sages, plus lots more including trees and bushes.  At the Butterfly House you can walk among more than 300 butterflies representing dozens of rare butterflies from South and Central America, Africa and Asia in a tropical setting that features colorful plants and a soothing water feature.  If you stand still butterflies may choose to land on you!
