Welcome to the historic Glen Rock Mill Inn in Glen Rock, Pennsylvania.  The Glen Rock Mill Inn, built in 1837 as a woolen mill, has found new life as a full-service restaurant committed to serving regional cuisine and spirits in a historic setting featuring distinctive dining areas with 14’ rustic roughhewn beams, original stone and brick work details, a spring-fed fountain in one room and a collection of antiques.  Upon our arrival, we are told a brief history of the mill, followed by a relaxing and enjoyable afternoon tea luncheon with friends or family.  In addition to a brewed tea of your choice, the menu will consist of breads and scones served with whipped honey butter and lemon curd, soup, garden salad with citrus vinaigrette dressing, tea sandwiches, and dessert.  After our tea luncheon, we take a leisurely drive to Sunrise Soap Company in York, Pennsylvania.  You will meet with a staff member and learn about the shop’s healthy homemade products, plus a demonstration will be given on the art of making artisan soaps, lotions and other goodies.  Also, prior to our departure, you will have time for browsing the gift shop for souvenirs and a special gift!  Later, on our way home, we treat you to a stop at Brown’s Orchard & Farm Market, nestled among the rolling hills and valleys of Southern York County.  At this unique country market, you will find a wide variety of locally grown fruits and vegetables and much more.  Bring along a cooler and take home some Pennsylvania Dutch foods, fresh baked breads, meats, soups, and salads made fresh daily.
