Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts.  This American favorite and winner of six Tony Awards follows traveling salesman Harold Hill as he cons the people of River City, Iowa, into buying instruments and uniforms for a boys’ band that he vows to organize . . . despite the fact he doesn’t know a trombone from a treble clef!  His plans to skip town are foiled when he falls for Marian, the town librarian.  Note: “The Music Man” is recommended for ages 7 and older.  Before the show enjoy a delicious lunch at Saints Paradise Cafeteria, a southern and soul restaurant where “love is the main ingredient”.  “The Music Man” is presented in the Kennedy Center’s Eisenhower Theater with Center Balcony SeatsShowtime at 2:00 P.M.
