Today we travel across the Chesapeake Bay to Virginia’s Eastern Shore to Chincoteague Island, Virginia, “Home to Assateague’s Wild Ponies” for the start of a “New Day Tour”! Upon our arrival, we will enjoy a delicious lunch at Bill’s Seafood Restaurant. Please provide a meal choice when making your reservations. After lunch we climb aboard “Misty” for an exciting cruise between the barrier islands of Assateague and Chincoteague, “The Best Way for You to See the Wild Ponies!” So, jump aboard and head to the boarders of nearby Assateague Island National Seashore and Chincoteague National Wildlife Refuge. Traveling by boat is the ultimate way to see the celebrated wild ponies, eagles, shorebirds, marine life, and to take in the spectacular bay and island views. Led by an experienced captain, our trip combines sightseeing and a guided tour experience together, all while cruising along the scenic lagoons, coves and backwaters of Assateague in search of the famous wild ponies.
