We travel to Wilmington, Delaware for a jolly holiday celebration on board the Wilmington & Western Railroad. Enjoy a delightful and exciting rail excursion on the “Santa Claus Express”. Settle into the clickety-clack of the rails while you get caught up in the joy and magic of the yuletide season from your reserved seat inside an antique passenger coach pulled by a coal-burning steam locomotive or an early-generation diesel locomotive. Santa will greet you upon our arrival, and during the 1-½ hour round trip excursion to Ashland, Delaware, a Jolly Old Elf will ride along with us spreading holiday cheer along the way. Santa will provide a chocolate treat to all the children on board. Also, be sure to bring your camera and capture enchanting photos of the children with Santa. Following the train ride, on our way home, we treat you to apple cider, candy canes and plenty of yuletide cheer onboard the motor coach.
