Day 1

Welcome Aboard! Travel in comfort aboard our deluxe motor coach as we head south toward the sunny Florida Keys. Before checking into our hotel in Florence, South Carolina for the night, we are treated to a delicious dinner at a local restaurant. (D)


Day 2

After breakfast we depart for St. Augustine, Florida. With more than 450 years of history, St. Augustine is known as The Ancient City, and is the oldest continuously occupied European-established settlement within the borders of the continental United States. Upon our arrival, we meet our driver/guide and climb aboard the Old Town Trolley for a tour of the city. Experience "transportainment", a delightful combination of transportation and entertainment, while your friendly conductor entertains you with a fascinating and fun mixture of historical facts, humorous stories and trivia. Following our tour enjoy some free time exploring St. Augustine on your own. Tonight, we are treated to a savory dinner at a downtown restaurant before checking into our hotel accommodations in St. Augustine for the night. (B, D)

Day 3

After breakfast settle back, relax and enjoy the scenery on our drive south along the Atlantic coast to Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. Following lunch on your own we visit Flamingo Gardens. A 60-acre tropical paradise, Flamingo Gardens is a non-profit wildlife sanctuary, aviary, and botanical garden. The garden features thousands of rare, exotic and native plants, plus butterfly and hummingbird gardens. The wildlife sanctuary is home to over 90 species of animals native to Florida. The aviary exhibits five native Florida ecosystems, and you can view 250 birds representing more than 45 native species. The Everglades aviary houses one of the largest collections of wading birds in the United States. The Flamingo Pond showcases Caribbean Flamingos amidst their naturalistic environment of tropical vegetation and sparkling waterfalls. Also, you can visit the historic 1930's Wray Home Museum. The Wray Home was the weekend residence built in 1933 by Floyd L. and Jane Wray, and it has been restored to provide visitors a glimpse of life in South Florida in the 1930's. So, enjoy a narrated tram tour through 42 remote acres of Flamingo Gardens, explore the Wray Botanical Collection and visit historic Wray Home Museum. Tonight, we overnight in Doral, Florida, a suburb of Miami. Tonight, dinner is included. (B, D)

Day 4

After breakfast we depart for Florida's premier airboat attraction, the Everglades Safari Park. A guided tour of the Everglades including a thrilling airboat ride will be included. Our experienced tour guide will describe to you the wonders of this unique ecosystem and the native and exotic wildlife that inhabit it. Also, an alligator wildlife show and a walking trail filled with crocodilian exhibits are included. Later we continue south, traveling across the Overseas Highway to our destination - Key West, Florida. The anticipation is over as we arrive at our deluxe accommodations for the next three nights at the Doubletree Grand Key Resort, located close to historic downtown Key West. Following our hotel check in, you will have time to unwind and freshen up before a delicious dinner is served at the hotel. (B, D)

Day 5

After breakfast we'll board the Old Town Trolley and embark on a 90-minute tour through Key West. The trolley tour showcases all the best of Key West, from Mallory Square and Duval Street to Henry Flagler's historic Railroad Museum, and everything in between. With over 100 points of interest on your tour, the open-air sightseeing tour trolleys are perfect for taking pictures. Included is admission to the Ernest Hemingway Home & Museum. You may hop on and off at convenient stops throughout the day. Following an exciting day exploring Key West, we climb aboard a 2-hour Key West Sunset Catamaran Cruise. Come sail along on an ocean breeze and enjoy some of Key West's best musicians performing live to the backdrop of the setting sun. You'll eat, drink and party the night away on Key West's original live music sunset sail. So, raise a toast to Key West's world famous Key West sunset as it settles into the Gulf of Mexico, grab someone's hand and let the music move you, and experience a sunset cruise you will never forget on this 2-hour catamaran cruise! Your sunset cruise will include live music, ice cold margaritas, champagne, beer and wine, sodas and water and hot and cold appetizers. (B)


Day 6

After breakfast enjoy a free day in Key West! Be sure to take advantage of the Old Town Trolley, (day pass included), which offers unlimited re-boarding privileges to enjoy the variety of shopping, dining and attractions. Those more adventurous might try snorkeling, fishing or even an exciting fly tour to historic Fort Jefferson. Or sip on refreshing cocktails from the outdoor Tiki Bar while spending the day poolside surrounded by tropical gardens. It's the perfect setting to enjoy America's Caribbean and a lazy day. Tonight, dinner is on your own, be adventurous and enjoy the great local cuisine . . . anyone up for conch chowder, hot ballos or Key Lime pie? (B)


Day 7

After breakfast look for a few alligators sunning themselves in swamps next to the highway as we return to Florida's mainland and travel to Miami, Florida. Following lunch on your own at the Bayside Marketplace, sit back, relax and imagine feeling the ocean breeze, as you sail across the bay on a 90-minute Miami and Celebrity Homes Cruise. This cruise is an unforgettable narrated sightseeing cruise along scenic Biscayne Bay. See Miami's spectacular coastal sites including the beautiful downtown Miami skyline, the Port of Miami, Fisher Island, Miami Beach and "Millionaire's Row" - the homes of the rich and famous. From the celebrity houses on Star Island to high-rise condos in South Beach, Miami is teeming with incredible homes and a boat tour is the best way to see them up close! After our boat cruise, we depart for our oceanfront accommodations at the Wyndham Deerfield Beach Resort, for the next two nights. Tonight, dinner is on your own. (B)


Day 8

After breakfast, (a $15.00 food voucher is provided for breakfast), enjoy a free day at the beach! Spend the day splashing in crystal-clear surf and building castles made of sugar-white sand on one of South Florida's best beaches. You may choose to set out on the Atlantic on a sport-fishing trip in search of a legendary catch, have an amazing underwater adventure on a diving excursion, or simply cool off from a day in the sun with a revitalizing dip in the oceanfront pool or hot tub. Do it all or enjoy a day of leisure at our oceanfront hotel! (B)


Day 9

After breakfast, (a $15.00 food voucher is provided for breakfast), we depart for Fort Pierce, Florida. Upon our arrival we climb aboard our shaded pontoon boat for a guided educational and entertaining scenic eco boat tour of the Florida Indian River Lagoon and Estuary. Along with the Captain and his knowledgeable mates leading the way, we'll cruise the beautiful Indian River Lagoon, a saltwater river between Ponce de Leon and Jupiter Inlet, searching for dolphins, manatees, turtles, shore birds, fish and reptiles. Bring your camera for some spectacular photo opportunities! Following lunch on your own settle back, and relax in comfort aboard our deluxe motor coach and enjoy the scenery on our drive north along the Atlantic coast to reach our suburban Savannah, Georgia hotel for the night. Your on-board Gunther Tours Manager will help pass the time by playing games, showing a movie, and scheduling quiet time to relax and enjoy the scenery along the highway. After checking into our hotel for the night, we are treated to a delicious dinner at a local restaurant. (B, D)

Day 10

After breakfast it's a short ride to one of the most exciting cities in the southeast, Savannah, Georgia. Upon our arrival, we will visit the Savannah History Museum. To provide you with the best possible tour experience, first we will view the film presentation "Savannah the Survivor", in the museum's plush theatre. Next take a self-guided tour and walk through Savannah's history from 1733 to the present day. Here we will see Forrest Gump's Bench, historic fashions from bygone days, vehicles that rumbled down the port city's streets decades ago, and much more! A delicious lunch will be served after the tour at The River House Seafood Restaurant. Experience genuine Savannah flavor while dining in a restored 1820's King Cotton Warehouse while watching the merchant ships float by. Following lunch, we meet our step-on guide for a tour of historic Savannah that will highlight Savannah's many historical attractions. After our tour enjoy some leisure time strolling along the cobblestone-paved Factors Walk and River Street, where old cotton warehouses have been converted into trendy shops, taverns and restaurants. Following our free time, we depart for our hotel accommodations in Florence, South Carolina. Before checking into our hotel for the night, enjoy dinner at the nearby Cracker Barrel Old Country Store. After breakfast settle back, relax, and enjoy treasured memories from our remarkable days under the warm Florida sunshine as we journey home! (B)
