COVID-19 Health and Safety Update

Dear Valued Partners and Friends,

As important Gunther Charter customers, we want to keep you informed of the safety measures we have implemented to keep our customers and employees safe.  Safety is and will always be our top priority, so it is important to keep everyone informed and assured of their safety as our Nation begins to reopen and we begin to travel once again.

Physical distancing will be monitored.  We will be leaving the first row of seats behind the driver vacant to allow sufficient distance.  We will also be limiting passenger capacity on the coaches to follow social distancing guidelines as much as possible.

We require all employees and customers to wear a face covering while onboard the coach.

Daily Base Sanitizing/Disinfecting Process

Our coach disinfecting process always includes a thorough cleaning after each trip.  We use an automated wash bay for exterior surfaces.  All interior surfaces and windows are sanitized.  Floors are mopped and all hard surfaces are cleaned using an EPA approved disinfectant.  In addition, interiors will be treated with an electrostatic fogging process using a CDC approved, non-toxic chemical (Virox 11/256. EPA

Registration # 70627-24 N list approved).  This product eradicates all germs, bacteria, viruses and odors.

Continuous Disinfection Process

We have also added a premium, upgraded MERV 13 cabin filtration system that continually filters 0.3 – 10.00-micron particles.  This system eliminates dust, lint, pollen, mold spores, microscopic allergens and virus carriers.

In addition, we have installed a UV-C HVAC light disinfection system that works continuously to kill up to 99% of microbial contaminants.

Of course, there is always hand sanitizer (60% alcohol) in the rest rooms and the drivers will be supplied with disinfectant products for surface cleaning of high traffic areas (lavatory, handrails, etc.) during downtime, whether it be an attraction or at a hotel for multi-day trips.

The well-being and comfort of our customers is very important to us.  We will continue to monitor public health concerns and adhere to all state guidelines and will keep everyone informed as we move forward with our tours and charter service.

Please keep in mind the safety precautions outlined by the CDC:

          - There is currently NO vaccine to prevent COVID-19

          - Stay home when you feel sick

          - Avoid contact with people who are sick

          - Cover your mouth when you sneeze or cough

          - Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth

          - Wash your hands frequently with soap for at least 20 seconds or an alcohol-based hand sanitizer

We appreciate your business over the past 30 years.  Our success has been due to our loyal customers.  The past few months have been difficult on everyone and information has been changing almost daily.  With your help and continued patronage, we will emerge from this unprecedented time and be able to enjoy traveling and being with our friends again soon.

Sincerely.

Martin Gunther, President
