New York City Tours
The Statue of Liberty is one of the abiding images of America, and Ellis Island is one of the country’s most important historic sites. Spend the day visiting one or both of these two landmark national parks. We will board Statue Cruises at Liberty State Park located in New Jersey to make our way to the islands, and as a bonus we are treated to a fabulous view of the Manhattan skyline en route.
Today's day trip to New York City features 3 rivers, 7 major bridges, 5 boroughs, over 25 world renowned landmarks and, of course, a magnificent close-up view of the Statue of Liberty. We embark on a 2-½ hour Circle Line Around Manhattan Island Cruise aboard Circle Line Sightseeing Cruises.
Today’s day trip is to the 9/11 Museum, which was completed and opened to the public in 2014. The National September 11 Memorial Museum is an educational and historical institution honoring the nearly 3,000 people killed in the terror attacks of September 11, 2001 and serves as the country’s principal institution for examining the implications of the events of 9/11, documenting the impact of those events and exploring the continuing significance of September 11, 2001.
