Day 1

Welcome Aboard! Travel in comfort aboard our deluxe motor coach to the sunny shores, spectacular beaches, and breathtaking sunsets of Cape Cod, Massachusetts. Upon arrival, we check into the Holiday Inn, our home for the next four nights. This stylish and contemporary hotel is centrally located on Cape Cod, offering convenient access to the region's beautiful beaches, historic charm, fine dining, and entertainment. We conclude our travel day with a delicious dinner at the hotel's restaurant. During your stay, enjoy the hotel's amenities, including an on-site restaurant and lounge bar, an indoor pool with whirlpool spa, and a fitness center, so be sure to pack your bathing suit.

Day 2

After breakfast we meet our step-on guide and depart for Falmouth, Massachusetts, where we board a ferry for a scenic cruise to the island of Martha's Vineyard. Upon arrival, we begin a guided sightseeing tour aboard our deluxe motor coach, highlighting many of the island's charming and historic landmarks. Along the way, we will learn about Martha's Vineyard important role as a thriving whaling port during the 18th century while passing distinctive architectural treasures, including the colorful gingerbread-style cottages and elegant sea captains' homes adorned with rooftop widow's walks. Later, enjoy leisure time to explore the boutiques, galleries, and restaurants in the picturesque Village of Edgartown. Lunch is on your own. Afterward, we reboard the ferry for our return cruise to Cape Cod. Before heading back to our hotel for a relaxing evening, we enjoy a delicious dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 3

After breakfast we meet our step-on guide and depart for a scenic tour from Hyannis to "Land's End," Provincetown, located at the very tip of Cape Cod. Along the way, we will learn about the region's unique cranberry bogs, kettle ponds, distinctive "half-Cape" architecture, and the rich maritime heritage of sea captains, whaling, and the famed "Graveyard of Ships." In the afternoon, enjoy leisure time to experience the lively street scene of this vibrant and diverse community. Browse Provincetown's eclectic gift shops, boutiques, art galleries, and restaurants. Lunch will be on your own. Later, we board the Dolphin Fleet for a narrated whale watching cruise to the Stellwagen feeding grounds in search of these remarkable marine mammals. Witness the power, energy, and majesty of humpback and fin whales as they surface, play, and breach in this food-rich environment. Before returning to Hyannis for a relaxing evening, enjoy additional free time in Provincetown for browsing, shopping, and dinner on your own.

Day 4

After breakfast we meet our step-on guide and depart for a guided tour of Hyannis. Our tour includes a photo stop at the John F. Kennedy Memorial overlooking Lewis Bay, a drive past the Kennedy Compound (limited views), and St. Francis Xavier Church, where the Kennedy family worships, among other notable sites. Following our tour, we visit Main Street in downtown Hyannis, an inviting and eclectic all-American Main Street that offers a wonderful opportunity to shop, dine, and explore. Lined with specialty shops, boutiques, galleries, restaurants, and fun attractions, there is something for everyone to enjoy. You will have time to enjoy lunch on your own at one of more than twenty restaurants, ranging from casual eateries to relaxed sit-down dining establishments. After lunch we return to the Holiday Inn, where you may relax and unwind at the hotel's spacious indoor heated pool, an ideal place to recharge or simply enjoy the company of fellow travelers. Take a refreshing swim, relax in the bubbly whirlpool, read a book poolside, play a card game, or simply enjoy the friendly atmosphere. This evening, the hotel staff welcomes us with warm hospitality and a delicious dinner for all to enjoy, providing a perfect ending to another enjoyable day on Cape Cod.

After breakfast we depart for home, taking with us fond memories of Cape Cod. The Cape's rich connection to New England's maritime history and seafaring traditions, the diverse communities found both on the mainland and the surrounding islands, and the region's spectacular coastal scenery and beaches all contribute to a truly memorable experience. Add to this the remarkable encounters with marine life and the unique charm and adventure discovered on the island of Martha's Vineyard, and this Cape Cod getaway becomes an unforgettable journey!
