Day 5

After breakfast settle back, and relax in comfort aboard our deluxe motor coach and enjoy the scenery on our drive across eastern Tennessee through the Great Smoky Mountains, en route to Sevierville, Tennessee. We'll stop for lunch at Applewood Farmhouse Restaurant, an exceptional dining and shopping complex surrounded by orchards in a tranquil setting in the heart of Sevierville. Located in a historic farmhouse on a working apple orchard, the restaurant serves up delicious, hearty authentic farm-style southern cuisine, with a country flare. Following lunch enjoy some free time browsing and shopping at the Apple Barn Cider Mill & General Store, the candy factory, winery, creamery, and bakery all located at the farm complex. Later, we check into our overnight accommodations in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee before going out to experience the shipboard holiday festivities at the Titanic Museum. The Titanic is magical during the holidays. Come exchange greetings with the Titanic crew and enjoy the glittering lights and the festive decorations. The beauty and charm of a once-upon-a-time Edwardian Christmas will dazzle and truly amaze you, from your arrival at the White Star Line boarding station to the moment you depart through a magical Holiday Gift Shoppe. See all the trimmings: twinkling lights, lush garlands, wreaths and towering Christmas trees. It's during this special time of year that you'll truly experience what it was like aboard ship and how it might have looked on a Christmas voyage 108 years ago. The museum is committed to remembering and honoring the men, women and especially the 133 children who sailed RMS Titanic's maiden voyage in 1912 every day. We conclude our tour with a special dinner aboard the Titanic Museum in the 'Secret' Titanic First Class Dining Room. This elegant evening dinner is the perfect way to celebrate the holiday. With beautiful recreations of rooms within the Titanic and painstaking attention to detail, this museum is well known for bringing the elegant Victorian period to life.
