Day 1

Welcome Aboard! Discover a Country Christmas oasis and celebrate the wonder of the holiday season at the Gaylord Opryland Resort in Nashville, Tennessee and experience the enchantment of a Smoky Mountain Christmas at Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. Before checking into our hotel in Knoxville, Tennessee for the night, we will enjoy a delicious dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 2

After breakfast we depart for one of the South's newest and most popular travel center "inventions," BUC-EE's, a one-of-a-kind rest and gas station stop destination. A massive convenience store, with the look and feel of a small Walmart, BUC-EE's prices are affordable, the staff are friendly, and it is renowned for its exceptionally clean and spacious restrooms. Take a break, grab some snacks, and bring Buc-ee home as a souvenir! Next, we travel to Nashville, Tennessee, where we will board the General Jackson Showboat, an authentic paddle wheel riverboat, for a scenic lunch cruise down the Cumberland River. Enjoy a delicious meal as you take in the views, followed by a lively country music holiday show that perfectly captures the spirit of the season. After the cruise, we check in for a three night stay at the world-famous Gaylord Opryland Resort, where you will enjoy Atrium Garden View accommodations. Each year, the resort is transformed into a dazzling holiday wonderland, featuring over two million twinkling lights, acres of larger-than-life decorations, thousands of poinsettias, and beautifully adorned Christmas trees. From your private balcony, take in the breathtaking view of the indoor gardens and soak up the magical holiday atmosphere. This evening, dinner is on your own at one of the many exceptional restaurants conveniently located throughout the resort.

Day 3

After breakfast we will experience the magic behind the scenes of Nashville's most iconic music venue with a guided backstage tour of the Grand Ole Opry. Walk in the footsteps of country music superstars and hear insider stories about the Opry House, its rich history, and the legendary artists who have graced its stage. You will get an exclusive look behind the curtain, visit the dressing rooms, explore backstage areas, and even stand in the center of the famous Circle where countless country legends have performed. Following the tour, we will depart for downtown Nashville for lunch on your own at Assembly Food Hall, a lively European-style food marketplace featuring dozens of food vendors, craft cocktails, live music, and the Skydeck rooftop venue. Enjoy a vibrant culinary and entertainment experience right in the heart of the city. After lunch, we will explore the Broadway Historic District. Stroll through the heart of downtown Nashville and soak up the electric atmosphere of Broadway's iconic honky-tonks, including the world-famous Tootsie's Orchid Lounge. You will also have time to browse local shops, unique boutiques, and a wide variety of restaurants, all within easy walking distance. Later, we will return to the hotel, where you will have time to relax and freshen up and enjoy dinner on your own. Tonight, we will attend a live performance at the legendary Grand Ole Opry. Each show is a unique celebration featuring country music superstars, rising newcomers, and legendary artists. Join us for the show that made country music famous as we honor its past, present, and future! After the show, we will return to the hotel for a restful night's sleep.

Day 4

After breakfast we will meet our step-on guide and depart for a tour of Nashville. Discover the city's rich history, vibrant culture, stunning architecture, and hidden gems that make "Music City, U.S.A" so unique. Following the tour, we will return to the hotel, and the rest of the day is yours to enjoy at your leisure! The Opryland Resort offers a wide variety of attractions for you to explore. Your experience includes admission to ICE! - a magical indoor winter wonderland, entirely hand-carved from ice and celebrating the spirit of Christmas, as well as a relaxing Delta River Flatboat Ride through the resort's scenic indoor river. Spend your afternoon unwinding, exploring, shopping, dining, and soaking in the festive atmosphere of this Christmas wonderland. In the evening, we will come together for a festive holiday dinner, followed by a special holiday-themed musical performance at the Gaylord Opryland Resort - a perfect ending to a magical day!

Day 5

After breakfast settle back and relax in comfort aboard our deluxe motor coach as we journey across the scenic mountains to Sevierville, Tennessee. Enjoy the breathtaking views along the way. We will stop for lunch at the Applewood Farmhouse Restaurant; a charming dining and shopping destination nestled in a peaceful orchard setting in the heart of Sevierville. Located in a historic farmhouse on a working apple orchard, this beloved restaurant offers hearty, authentic Southern cuisine with a delightful country flair. Following lunch, we will depart for Dollywood to experience the magic of a Smoky Mountain Christmas. Step into a unique winter wonderland filled with festive holiday shows, traditional crafts, and seasonal treats. With over four million sparkling lights, Dollywood offers a joyful celebration of the holidays that is sure to create lasting memories. Dinner is on your own at Dollywood, with plenty of delicious options available throughout the park. In the evening, enjoy a scenic riding tour through Pigeon Forge to view the spectacular Winterfest Light Displays. The town comes alive with whimsical Christmas themes, dazzling lighted trees, and vibrant animated displays that capture the spirit of the season. Afterwards, we will check in for the night at the nearby Drury Plaza Hotel, where you can unwind and rest after a fun-filled day.

Day 6

After breakfast settle back and relax for a hand-clappin', toe-tappin', good time ride home as you reminisce about the festive sights, sounds, and lights of Opryland's Country Christmas in Nashville, along with the dazzling holiday displays and joyful music of a Smoky Mountain Christmas in the Smokies! Today's buffet lunch is included at Michie Tavern in Charlottesville, Virginia, an authentic 1784 pub. There, you will enjoy a delicious Southern-style meal in a charming, rustic setting, with servers dressed in period attire. It is a unique dining experience rich in history, culture, and warm hospitality. Happy Holidays!
