The Statue of Liberty is one of the abiding images of America, and Ellis Island is one of the country’s most important historic sites. Spend the day visiting one or both of these two landmark national parks. We will board Statue Cruises at Liberty State Park located in New Jersey to make our way to the islands, and as a bonus we are treated to a fabulous view of the Manhattan skyline en route.

The Statue of Liberty is one of the abiding images of America, and Ellis Island is one of the country’s most important historic sites.  Spend the day visiting one or both of these two landmark national parks.  We will board Statue Cruises at Liberty State Park located in New Jersey to make our way to the Islands, and as a bonus we are treated to a fabulous view of the Manhattan skyline en route.  Please note: A general admission ticket for the Statue of Liberty includes round-trip ferry service, access to the outdoor grounds of both Liberty Island and Ellis Island, and entry to both the Statue of Liberty Museum and the Ellis Island National Museum of Immigration.  Group tours are not allowed inside the crown due to severe capacity limitations, strict fire codes, and the tight, narrow single staircase.  Fast food stops will be made both en route to Liberty State Park and on the return trip home.
