Christmas at the Biltmore Estate 25

Day 1

Welcome Aboard! Join us for a fun-filled get-away full of spectacular scenery, and plenty of holiday cheer and yuletide spirit in the mountains of Asheville, North Carolina and Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. Before checking into the Hampton Inn & Suites, our hotel for the next two nights, enjoy a delicious dinner at a local restaurant. Our accommodations are set amidst Asheville's breathtaking Blue Ridge Mountains!

Day 2

After breakfast we depart for the legendary Biltmore Estate for a day of sightseeing. The Biltmore Estate is the largest privately-owned home in America. To provide you with the best possible tour experience we have included the official audio guide to capture the feeling of being personally guided through Biltmore's grand rooms. Highlights of the Biltmore Estate tour include access to George Vanderbilt's French chateau style mansion and its formal gardens. The mansion will be decorated with more than thirty-five magnificent holiday trees to view. A delicious luncheon is included at Biltmore's Stable Café. In the afternoon we return to our hotel where you will have time to relax and freshen up before going out for tonight's dinner at the Stone Ridge Tavern. A family friendly restaurant, Stone Ridge Tavern uses the freshest vegetables and locally sourced ingredients from local farmers and the Western North Carolina farmer's market to prepare mouthwatering, original recipes and create desserts made from scratch.

Day 3

After breakfast we meet our driver/guide and climb aboard a nostalgic trolley for a fully narrated tour of Asheville. There is no better way to discover and explore Asheville! You will be amazed by the Art Deco architecture and hidden treasures that wait to be discovered in "The Land of the Sky". Following our tour, settle back and relax in comfort aboard our deluxe motor coach and enjoy the picturesque scenery on our drive across the mountains to Sevierville, Tennessee. We will stop for lunch at Applewood Farmhouse Restaurant, an exceptional dining and shopping complex surrounded by orchards in a tranquil setting in the heart of Sevierville. Located in a historic farmhouse on a working apple orchard, the restaurant serves delicious, hearty authentic farm-style southern cuisine, with a country flare. Following lunch enjoy some free time browsing and shopping at The Apple Barn Cider Mill & General Store, the candy factory, winery, creamery, and bakery all located at The Apple Barn Village. Next, we take our reserved seats at the Country Tonite Theatre for a memorable show that is a perfect blend of Pigeon Forge's best live country music and a joyful celebration of Christmas! Later, we check into our accommodations for the night at the nearby Fairfield Inn & Suites after enjoying dinner on your own and riding through Pigeon Forge to view the annual Winterfest. See Pigeon Forge all decked out for the holidays in whimsical Christmas themes, trees all lit up with brightly colored lights, and amazing colorful animated displays.

Day 4

After breakfast we depart for home taking with us many pleasant memories of a wonderful get-away to the mountains of North Carolina and Tennessee full of yuletide spirit, holiday music and cheer, and an unforgettable visit to the Biltmore Estate! Today's buffet lunch is included at Michie Tavern, an authentic 1784 pub in Charlottesville, Virginia. Enjoy a delicious lunch in a rustic tavern setting served to you by servers dressed in period attire. Happy Holidays!
