Day 1

Welcome Aboard! Travel in comfort aboard our deluxe motor coach to one of America's most colorful, award-winning spring festivals - the Tulip Time Festival in Holland, Michigan. En route, we will stop for a delicious dinner at The Spaghetti Warehouse Restaurant in Toledo, Ohio a family-friendly Italian American favorite. Following dinner, we will continue to Oregon, Ohio where we will check in to our hotel for the evening.

Day 2

After breakfast we depart for Holland, Michigan, where the city is celebrating its world-famous Tulip Time Festival - a vibrant celebration of blooming tulips and the rich heritage of America's Dutch immigrants. Upon arrival, enjoy a delicious Dutch lunch followed by a lively traditional Dutch dance performance. Next, visit Nelis' Dutch Village, an authentic recreation of a 19th century Dutch town. Stroll among charming Dutch architecture, colorful flower gardens, and scenic canals as costumed interpreters, dressed in traditional Dutch attire and wooden shoes, bring the history, customs, and culture of the Netherlands to life. This afternoon, we meet our step-on guide for a scenic tour of Holland. Highlights include the city's historic neighborhoods, beautiful parks, Hope College, views of the iconic Dutch windmill, vibrant tulip-lined streets, and charming downtown Holland. The day concludes with a delicious dinner at a local restaurant followed by entertaining evening entertainment. Later, we depart for Grand Rapids, Michigan, where we check in for a two-night stay at the Drury Inn & Suites.

Day 3

After breakfast we continue our exploration of Holland, Michigan, during the vibrant Tulip Time Festival. Our day begins with a visit to the spectacular Tulip Immersion Garden, where more than two million tulips create a breathtaking display of color and beauty. Next, we visit Windmill Island Gardens, home to De Zwaan, America's only authentic working Dutch windmill. Surrounded by colorful tulip fields, this picturesque attraction offers a glimpse into Holland's rich Dutch heritage and provides outstanding photo opportunities. Following lunch on your own, we take our reserved grandstand seats for the festival's most anticipated event - the Volksparade. Sit back and enjoy an afternoon of colorful floats, spirited marching bands, traditional Dutch costumes, and festive entertainment as the community celebrates its proud cultural heritage. After the parade, we return to the hotel, where you will have time to relax and freshen up before enjoying the Drury Inn's Manager's Reception. This complimentary evening gathering features a selection of hot foods and cold beverages, including beer, wine, and mixed drinks. The remainder of the evening is at leisure before retiring for a restful night's sleep.

Day 4

After breakfast we visit Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park, where our experience includes a narrated tram tour. Discover the beauty and splendor of a Victorian-style garden featuring plants from around the world, scenic waterfalls, and outdoor nature trails. Highlights also include Michigan's largest tropical conservatory and an internationally acclaimed sculpture park showcasing over one hundred works by world-renowned artists. Next, we depart for Ed Dunneback & Girls Farm Market, a West Michigan treasure for over a century. Enjoy an included box lunch, and take time to browse the fresh produce market, gift shop, bakery, kitchen, and tap room - perfect for picking up a special souvenir. Later, we travel to Oregon, Ohio for our overnight stay. A dinner stop will be made en route; dinner is on your own.

After breakfast we depart for home with a vivid appreciation for Dutch heritage, fond memories of spring's beauty, and lasting impressions of millions of tulips and vibrant flowers in spectacular bloom.
