Day 1

Welcome Aboard! Join us for a fun-filled get-away full of picturesque scenery, holiday cheer and yuletide spirit in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains and a celebration of all things Dolly Parton. This spectacular tour includes attending two amazing and entertaining dinner shows at Dolly Parton theatres, experiencing the wonder and magic of a Smoky Mountain Christmas at Dollywood, and a photo-stop at the Dolly Parton statue located in Sevierville, Tennessee honoring the hometown's internationally acclaimed daughter. Even diehard Dolly fans will find this tour only adds to their appreciation of this multi-talented and celebrated American Master! Before checking into the Fairfield Inn & Suites for the next four nights, we are treated to dinner at a local restaurant that serves great local flavors.

Day 2

After breakfast we meet our step-on guide, and depart for a tour of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, America's most visited national park. Following our park tour we visit downtown Gatlinburg, Tennessee, where you can enjoy free time exploring the various shops and entertainment attractions along Gatlinburg's Main Street. Later we return to our hotel to rest, relax and freshen up before going out for a dinner and show at Dolly Parton's Stampede Dinner Attraction. We have reserved seats for a fun-filled, action-packed spectacular Christmas extravaganza that will warm your heart and touch your soul! The Stampede arena is magically transformed into a true fantasyland complete with twinkling lights, evergreens, poinsettias, old-fashioned holiday costumes and familiar holiday music. Snow falls softly as the breathtaking yuletide scenes fill you with tidings of good cheer. The holiday festivities get playful as Elves from the North Pole and South Pole compete in a friendly rivalry while serving up a festive four-course feast. Following the show, we return to our hotel for a good night's sleep.

Day 3

After breakfast we meet our step-on guide, and depart for more touring of the Great Smoky Mountains. The highlights of our morning tour will include visiting downtown Sevierville, the eighth oldest town in Tennessee. There will be a photo-stop at the Dolly Parton statue. Then, we travel the back roads to our destination - Bush Beans General Store and Visitor Center in Chestnut Hill, Tennessee. We visit the original general store A.J. Bush first opened in 1897 and view a short film featuring information about how Bush Beans got started. Don't forget to visit the gift store for clothing, home goods and plenty of Jay and Duke memorabilia. Following our tour, we make our way to Dollywood amusement and theme park to experience a Smoky Mountain Christmas. It's a winter wonderland of spectacular holiday shows, old-time crafts and festive holiday foods. You are sure to create countless pleasant holiday memories enjoying this mixture of fun amusements, friendly folks and terrific Christmas displays constructed with more than 4,000,000 sparkling lights. Dinner is on your own at Dollywood. Tonight, en route back to our hotel we enjoy a riding tour through Pigeon Forge to view the annual Winterfest. See the town decorated for the holidays with amazing Christmas themes, brightly colored lighted trees and colorful animated displays.

Day 4

After breakfast we depart for the historic mountain town of Bryson City, North Carolina and the Great Smoky Mountains Railroad. We will embark on a round trip train ride along the Tuckasegee River and through the quiet countryside on our way to Dillsboro, North Carolina. Highlights of your excursion include passing by the famed movie set location used in the filming of "The Fugitive," starring Harrison Ford and a layover in Dillsboro. Enjoy leisurely browsing the many unique shops in this small town in Western North Carolina before we re-board the train for our return to Bryson City. A box lunch will be included during your excursion. Following our train excursion, we board our deluxe motor coach and depart for a dinner and show. We begin by celebrating the Pirate Spirit with fun and adventure at Dolly Parton's Pirates Voyage Dinner and Show. We will sail into the holidays at this lavishly staged Christmas show that offers a spectacular swashbuckling spin on "A Christmas Carol" with Captain Scrooge, his faithful first mate Bob Crachit, and his lofty crew. The journey to Christmas past, present and future includes a "dream" where giant toys come to life and perform amazing acrobatics high above a 15-foot-deep indoor hideaway lagoon! Other adventures during this holiday extravaganza at Pirates Voyage include a live Nativity, an angel with a special message and a comical Christmas castaway and her sea lion. You will be thrilled by an epic battle between the Crimson and Emerald pirates as they compete for the coveted Christmas treasure on land, on deck, in water and high above two pirate ships. Also included, is a four-course holiday feast straight from Captain Scrooge's yuletide gallery for you to enjoy! Following the show, we return to our hotel for a good night's rest.

Day 5

After breakfast we depart for home taking with us splendid memories of "The Queen of Appalachia" and a Great Smoky Mountain Christmas get-away, Pigeon Forge's dazzling yuletide displays, joyous holiday music and a delightful railway adventure! Happy Holidays!
