Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts.  Based on Victor Hugo’s classic novel, “Les Misérables,” this enthralling story is a timeless testament to the survival of the human spirit.  “Les Misérables” sweeps its audience through an epic tale of broken dreams, passion, and redemption, against the backdrop of a nation in the grip of revolution.  The magnificent scores of “Les Misérables” includes the classic songs “I Dreamed a Dream,” “On My Own,” “Stars,” “Bring Him Home,” “Do You Hear the People Sing?,” “One Day More,” “Empty Chairs at Empty Tables,” “Master Of The House” and many more.  Note: “Les Misérables” is recommended for children ages 13 and older.  Before the show enjoy a delicious luncheon at Gadsby’s Tavern Restaurant in Alexandria, Virginia.  A U.S. National Historic Landmark, Gadsby’s Tavern Restaurant has been offering fine dining since 1770.  Please provide a meal choice when making your reservations.  Your choices are Monte Cristo Virginia (puff pastry stuffed with Smithfield ham, smoked turkey, and Swiss cheese with a fresh berry sauce), Chicken Salad, Ale Battered Codfish or Butternut Squash Ravioli
