Driving through the darkened countryside on an unlit country road and coming over that last hill you suddenly find yourself in a dazzling valley set aglow with more than half-million Christmas lights, it is like driving into a winter wonderland filled with the awe and magic of all things Christmas, and Santa and his helpers. A reflective lake adds to the stunning beauty of this enchanting place. We have arrived at Koziar’s Christmas Village, a spectacular seasonal attraction that has become a Christmas tradition for multiple generations. At your leisure stroll along the Christmas Village pathways lit by more than one-half million Christmas lights adorning buildings, gift barns, and the landscape. Visit the various buildings filled with trim the tree ideas, indoor and outdoor Christmas displays and souvenirs. See your favorite cartoon and fairy tale characters throughout the village. Enjoy freshly baked cookies and other treats in the country kitchen, and browse in Santa’s Toy Shoppe for unique gifts, ornaments, toys, and souvenirs. See the unique handmade train platform and follow the many trains through the tunnels, across the trestles, and around the miniature town located in the large Refreshment Barn. Before departing for home be sure to visit Santa’s headquarters located on Santa Claus Lane and talk with Santa and his helpers. Before our visit to Koziar’s we stop in East Earl, Pennsylvania for a delicious smorgasbord lunch at Shady Maple Smorgasbord, Lancaster County’s largest smorgasbord featuring tasty authentic Pennsylvania Dutch cooking. After lunch take time to visit the Shady Maple Gift Shop where you will find unique gift items, collectibles, dolls, Fenton Glassware, accessories, Amish crafted oak furniture, baskets, and the list goes on.
