Day 1

Welcome Aboard! Travel comfortably aboard our deluxe motor coach as we journey north to the charming seaside town of Boothbay Harbor, Maine - widely known as "The Boating Capital of New England." Along the way, take in the scenic beauty of New England's coastline as anticipation builds for your relaxing coastal getaway. Upon arrival, we settle into the welcoming Meadowmere Resort in Ogunquit, Maine, a picturesque village celebrated for its sandy beaches, quaint shops, and classic coastal charm. This evening, unwind and enjoy a delightful dinner at Jonathan's Restaurant, conveniently located adjacent to the resort - an inviting and memorable beginning to your Maine coastal escape.

Day 2

After breakfast we depart for the scenic harbor town of Boothbay Harbor, Maine. Upon arrival, we are greeted by a knowledgeable step-on guide and set out on a guided tour of the area, including a photo-stop at Ocean Point - one of the most breathtaking vantage points along the coast. Here, take in sweeping views of the rugged shoreline, scattered islands, passing boats, seabirds, and the refreshing salt air. Following the tour, enjoy leisure time to explore Boothbay Harbor Village at your own pace. Stroll along the charming waterfront streets lined with unique shops, art galleries, and inviting restaurants. Lunch is on your own, giving you the freedom to sample local flavors and coastal favorites. This afternoon, we board Cap'n Fish's Boat Trips for a relaxing and scenic harbor cruise. Glide past elegant summer homes, historic lighthouses, tranquil coves, and rocky islands, with opportunities to spot seals basking on sun-warmed ledges in their natural habitat. After our cruise, we check into the Boothbay Harbor Inn, a waterfront property where we will stay for the next two nights. Ideally situated on the east side of the harbor and within walking distance of the town center, the Inn also offers easy access to the iconic Boothbay Harbor Footbridge. This evening, we gather for a delicious dinner at the hotel, bringing a perfect close to a memorable day on the Maine coast.

Day 3

After breakfast depart for the postcard-perfect coastal town of Camden, Maine, proudly known as the “Windjammer Tall Ship Capital of Maine.” En route, enjoy a memorable photo stop at the summit of Mount Battie in Camden Hills State Park, where breathtaking panoramic views of Penobscot Bay and the surrounding islands await. Upon arrival in Camden, the remainder of the day is yours to explore at your own pace. Stroll through the charming downtown, browse quaint shops, boutiques, and art galleries, or relax at one of the town’s inviting cafés and restaurants. For those interested in seeing the coast from the water, consider an optional schooner cruise through Camden Harbor and along the picturesque coastline. Known for its scenic beauty and the slogan "Where the Mountains Meet the Sea," Camden offers something for everyone. Lunch is on your own, giving you the freedom to choose from the town’s many culinary offerings and enjoy the day at your leisure. Later this afternoon, we return to our Inn in Boothbay Harbor. The remainder of the day is yours to relax or continue exploring this charming coastal community. Take a leisurely stroll along the waterfront, browse the unique shops, or simply enjoy the scenic beauty and relaxed atmosphere of Boothbay Harbor. Dinner is on your own this evening, allowing you to select from the area’s many local restaurants featuring fresh Maine seafood and delicious regional specialties.

Day 4

After breakfast we depart for Freeport, Maine - home to a variety of well-known outlet stores and unique specialty shops. Enjoy free time to browse at your leisure, including a visit to the iconic L.L. Bean flagship store, a beloved New England destination open year-round. We then continue south to Ogunquit, Maine, where a true coastal experience awaits. Upon arrival, we board a narrated harbor and lobstering cruise led by an authentic Maine lobsterman. Learn firsthand how lobsters are caught and gain fascinating insight into Maine's iconic lobster industry as you cruise along the scenic shoreline. Following our cruise, we visit the charming Village of Ogunquit and nearby Perkins Cove. Enjoy leisure time to explore the area's delightful shops and galleries, stroll along beautiful Ogunquit Beach, or take in the breathtaking scenery along the Marginal Way - a picturesque cliffside walk offering sweeping views of the rugged coastline, sandy beaches, and even a lighthouse in the distance. Later, we return to the Meadowmere Resort for the evening. After relaxing and refreshing in the comfort of your room, we head out for a memorable dinner featuring authentic Maine flavors. Tonight's highlight is a traditional Maine lobster dinner at Foster's Clambakes, complete with all the classic trimmings - an unforgettable culinary experience and the perfect way to cap off your coastal adventure.

Day 5

After breakfast we depart for home, taking with us many fond memories of our delightful journey along the coast of Maine. This relaxing getaway has offered the perfect blend of scenic beauty, coastal charm, and memorable experiences - from picturesque harbors and rugged shorelines to quaint villages and welcoming seaside communities. As we travel home, reflect on the unforgettable moments and the magic of Maine's sparkling waters, majestic landscapes, and timeless New England character.
