Days 1

Welcome Aboard! Join Gunther Tours for a fun-filled get-away filled with shopping, sightseeing, entertainment, and holiday cheer! We begin our tour by taking our reserved seats at the Hunterdon Hills Playhouse in Hampton, New Jersey. Hunterdon Hills Playhouse is New Jersey's premier dinner theatre specializing in matinee performances that range from Broadway shows and comedies, to vibrant musicals, special music events and concerts. First, enjoy a delicious buffet lunch, followed by a special holiday themed musical. After the show, we travel to America's most exciting metropolis, New York City, and check into one of the finest urban style hotels, the Riu Plaza New York Times Square for the next two nights. Relax and indulge yourself in your first-class accommodations and the hotel's exceptional amenities. You will find the Riu Plaza's central location in midtown Manhattan offers easy access to the best the Big Apple has to offer, including Broadway shows, fine dining, unparalleled shopping, and historic landmarks. Tonight, enjoy dinner on your own at one of the many restaurants conveniently located within walking distance of the hotel; choose from fast food restaurants to sit down dining establishments.

Day 2

After breakfast we meet our step-on guide, and depart for a "Uptown Tour" aboard our motor coach. Highlights of our tour today will include riding through the affluent West Side of Central Park called "Millionaires Row," home to many celebrities, actors, and television personalities. Next, we tour Harlem. Our tour of Harlem will take us past famous sights and landmarks such as The Abyssinian Baptist Church, St. Nicholas Avenue where Duke Ellington lived, the world-famous Apollo Theater, the charming residential neighborhoods of Sugar Hill and Hamilton Heights, and more. Following our guided tour, we arrive at Eataly, an indoor Italian Marketplace located in the heart of New York City for lunch on your own. Eataly is a unique combination of sandwich stands, market style stalls and full-fledged restaurants where you can purchase a wide variety of Italian delicacies. Before leaving the marketplace, you will have time for browsing in the gift shop which features an eclectic selection of housewares, apparel, books, as well as unique gift boxes for that special occasion. Later this afternoon, take your reserved seat for a performance of the annual Radio City Music Hall Christmas Spectacular, starring the incomparable, high kicking Radio City Rockettes, America's longest running precision dance company. You will not want to miss this holiday extravaganza that features classic show stopping numbers including the iconic "Parade of the Wooden Soldiers," the awe-inspiring "Living Nativity," the dynamic "New York at Christmas," and be delighted and dazzled as Santa flies high overhead, and more. Tonight, enjoy a delicious dinner on your own at one of New York City's finest restaurants.

Day 3

After breakfast we depart for the National September 11 Memorial & Museum which was completed and opened to the public in 2014. The National September 11 Memorial & Museum is an educational and historical institution honoring the nearly 3,000 people killed in the terror attacks of September 11, 2001, and serves as the country's principal institution for examining the implications of the events of 9/11, documenting the impact of those events, and exploring the continuing significance of September 11, 2001. The Museum's 110,000 square feet of exhibition space is located within the archaeological heart of the World Trade Center site. The story of 9/11 is experienced through multimedia displays, archives, narratives, and a collection of monumental and authentic artifacts which allow the viewer to understand what happened on 9/11, how people responded in the aftermath of the attacks, and the history and rebuilding of the World Trade Center. Following our tour settle back, relax, and enjoy holiday music on our drive to lunch. Today's lunch is included at Town & Country Diner in Bordentown, New Jersey. Enjoy a memorable meal and dining experience, at this favorite spot for locals and out of town visitors.
