Welcome to Middletown, Pennsylvania and the National Christmas Center for the start of a “New Holiday Day Tour!” Upon our arrival, take a self-guided tour through the center and discover the whimsy and fantasy, the magic and memories, and the history and traditions of Christmas. With over 18,000 square feet of vintage Christmas décor featuring lights, trees, replicated store fronts decked out in 1950’s Christmas themes and much more the National Christmas Center is a wondrous nostalgic Christmas experience that will definitely take you back to fond memories of childhood and bring a smile to one’s face! Next, we take a short drive to Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania and the Stone Gables Estate for a delicious Christmas buffet dinner including hors d’oeuvres, beverages, and a medley of seasonal desserts. Since 1877, the majestic Gothic Revival-style Star Barn has been a landmark in the Central Pennsylvania landscape. The Barn has towering cupolas, four dominant louvered star ventilators, 56-foot-long vaulted stone tunnel, and other rare architectural features that make it a cut above the standard Pennsylvania bank barn. Following dinner, be dazzled, and delighted with musical merriment during a special holiday show. Stocked with apple cider and candy canes and plenty of yuletide cheer onboard, Gunther Tours wishes you an enjoyable holiday get-away! Happy Holidays!
