Today we join the Captain and crew aboard the Cape May Whale Watcher for a narrated whale and dolphin watching cruise as we head out of Delaware Bay into the Atlantic Ocean and the Delaware Bay Estuary in search of these remarkable marine mammals. Here is your chance to witness whales gliding effortlessly through the open waters of their natural habitat, the Atlantic Ocean. Our boat cruise will take us in search of these aquatic giants as they play and breach off the coast of Delaware. The opportunity to spot these majestic creatures off the Delaware coast is one you will not soon forget. Be sure to bring a camera! Witness the power, energy and majesty of humpback, fin and minke whales as they play and breach for your enjoyment taking advantage of a food-rich environment! Watch for bottlenose dolphins, as well as a variety of seabirds and waterfowl. Along with pointing out the diverse types of marine life encountered on the cruise; our Captain will also share local history as part of this terrific offshore excursion. You never know what you may encounter, so do not miss this magical adventure! Before our boat cruise, enjoy a delicious lunch at South 9 Bar & Grille, one of Cape May’s favorite dining spots, loved by locals and tourists alike for its spacious, stylish, and relaxed setting. Please provide a meal choice when making your reservations. Your choices are Classic Chicken Caesar Salad, Classic Burger, Chicken & Avocado Sandwich, or Chicken Parmesan Sandwich. Note: The Cape May Whale Watcher is equipped with large restrooms upstairs and downstairs, handicap accessible on the lower deck, large aisles, heated and air-conditioned cabins, ample seating, hot and cold food at the snack bar, and more! Note: A rest stop will be made en route to Cape May, and a fast-food stop will be made on the return trip home.
